A few months back we broke down a review that one of our customers sent us piece by piece so that we could respond to the many different aspects of our business they were commenting on. That one review was so packed that it ended up taking up an entire blog, so today we thought we’d come back and respond to a few more customers who have used Bluebird Roofing, whether for roofing, gutter installation, siding repair, or one of our many other services.

Thanks for writing in, Stephanie, and we’re so very glad that you had such an “extremely positive” experience. We’re pleased you noted how easy it is to work with your insurance company when Bluebird is involved. We deal with insurance companies every day, and you won’t be surprised to learn that different insurance companies deal with claims in very different ways. Some never question the roofing needs of our clients, while some try to nickel and dime us at every turn. Sometimes they try to refuse aspects of a repair that are necessary for local code, and we always fight to ensure that the job is done correctly and lawfully.
We think it’s important to have a foreman on site as much as possible. Sure, there are times when you can “wind up a crew” and then leave, but it’s important to have someone on hand who can solve the problems as they arise, someone with experience beyond all of the other workers.
Thanks for mentioning the safety fence that we put up. We’re all about safety when it comes to your roofing project. While we are insured, we certainly don’t want any of our employees getting hurt on the job, and the fence ensures that the curious neighbor kids are kept out and kept safe. We’re also glad you noticed how clean everything was after we left. Most of the debris comes from the removal of the old roof, but there’s also quite a bit that’s created when the new shingles are put on as we put down new waterproofing and trim the shingles to the right size. We know you want your yard clean, so we do everything we can to get it all, including rolling the metal roller over the lawn and rocks to pick up any fallen nails. (The one thing you’ll want to watch out for is the area around your gutter spouts after the first rain. Sometimes debris left in the gutters can wash down and deposit detritus on the ground.)
Okay, now we go from a homeowner to someone who’s managing multiple properties.

Hey Steve, we’re proud to be one of few reviews that you’ve ever written. That usually means someone is very happy or angry. Thankfully, it sounds like you’re pretty happy.
Homeowners might have to deal with a new roof or siding installation once every 20 or 30 years, so they don’t really have a chance to establish relationships with certain companies. They just have to do their research and find the right company via roofing reviews. You’ve obviously dealt with other roofers before, and we’re certainly glad that you recognized us as one of the good ones to work with, both before and after the job at hand.
The point of yours we’d really like to address is that you’re not just comparing us to other roofers, but to other contractors as well. So thanks for putting us at the top for Roofing Companies, but we’re even more honored that you’d prefer to work with us on as many projects as possible beyond roofing. After all, we’re not just roofers; we handle gutter replacement, siding installation, and more. But considering how often you work with us, you already know that!

Hey Karen, we know that this is just part of your review, but we really wanted to focus on what you said about referring us to your clients and co-workers (and hopefully your friends!).
We can tell people that we’re the best in the roofing business, but that doesn’t do much to convince them. Online reviews, especially across multiple platforms such as Google, Facebook, HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List, and the Better Business Bureau, go a long way to guiding people to the right company, but they still might not be convinced. The fact is, except for personal experience, nothing convinces someone to go with particular service provider more than a personal recommendation. While we provide roofing service to our current customer, we know that we’re also working to get our next customer. Thank you for letting others know about us.
